Bullet Train to be introduced between Mysore and Chennai.

Karnataka Government is taking steps to introduce bullet train between Mysore and Chennai. It is seeking the co-operation of Japan to provide the requisite technical support. It is estimated that the scheme will cost one lakh crore rupees.Japan enters into the contract to provide technical support under BOT (Build Operate and Transfer) scheme. A comparison between the existing super fast train with the bullet train will be more helpful. Now the Super Fast Shatabti Express, running between Mysore and Chennai takes seven hours, but the proposed bullet train will take only two hours to reach Chennai. While it takes three hours to reach Bangaluru from Mysore by road, bullet train takes only 30 minutes. The bullet train travels at a speed of 300 to 320 km per hour.Simply fantastic.Of course, now it is possible that an office goer from Chennai to Mysore or Mysore to Chennai can regularly travel on a daily basis through bullet train. Since the bullet train covers Mysore, Bangaluru and Chennai in just two hours,it will be a boon to the software employees, business people residing in both Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Now both the state governments should take active steps to acquire the necessary lands for constructing the railways and to introduce the bullet train service. It is really a happy news that India is making a great leap forward in the 21 century in introducing the bullet train service into India. Thanks to the Karnataka government.
