Mobile phones are ever increasing in their usage and number and they seem to have become inseparable part of the human beings.Their frequent usage by the teens and the children in the age group of 8 to 12 is a worrying factor.
A report says that India has more mobile phone users than the closed toilets. It is a discredit to the sanitary conditions prevailing in India and an alarming sign that shows that the total number of mobile phones outnumber our population.

In particular mobile phones are indiscriminately used by the children in the age group of 8 to 12.Constant wearing of headphones to hear songs hours together make them lose their power of hearing and concentration.Teens sending and receiving frequent text messages through SMS using mobile phones disturb their peaceful and continuous sleeping hours, besides affecting their vision.Youngsters in their bid to open and read the messages then and there even during the wee hours of a day, say midnights and post midnights, are badly affected psychologically.

increasing use of mobile phones, especially chatting through SMS develop more intimacy with the sender without knowing their actual character. It becomes too late when they actually come to know the real face of the cell phone user at the other end.In the result, sometimes things are getting out of control and even develop a tendency among the teens to commit suicide.

It is needless to mention about the health hazards of frequent use of mobile phones.Increased use of mobile phones increases the risk of radiation that directly affect our brain.

In short indiscriminate use of mobile phones, especially by the teens and the children in the age group of 8 to 12 ruin them. Adults are also not lagging behind. Many of them have become addicted to mobile phones and when they are not able to use their mobile phones they are so tense and it is quite tough to get them back to normalcy. Hence, prevention is always better than cure. It is always better not to permit the youngsters in the age group of 8 to 12 to use or provide them with a mobile phone. However, we may permit them to use mobile phones to a limited extent under our supervision. To say the least moderation is the key and the best policy that applies to one and all.
